Uses: Acid Reflux, Abdominal Distention, Liver Stagnation. Shu Gan Wan is a formula designed to treat liver qi stagnation with accompanying blood stagnation and may also be used for the condition known as liver invading the spleen. Symptoms may include fullness and distention in the hypochondric region, stomach ache, gastric upset, acid reflux, lowered appetite, irritability, and vomiting. This formula is used to treat intercostal pain, hypochondriac pain, acid reflux, IBS, and abdominal distension.
